Provider Education

Tennessee AIDS Education & Training Center

Mission - To provide custom designed training and technical assistance to support, motivate and educate healthcare professionals to provide quality HIV care.

Scope - The TN AETC offers HIV treatment education, clinical consultation, capacity building and technical assistance to health care professional and agencies in Tennessee through:

• Didactic HIV/AIDS Presentations

• Clinical Skill Building Workshops

• Small Group Interactive Sessions

• Preceptorships with HIV Specialists

• Case Discussions

• Clinical Consultations

Target Audience - Although the TN AETC is open and available for assistance with providing or locating HIV treatment and research educational opportunities for any group or individual, our HRSA-mandated priorities fall into the following categories:

• Physicians 

• Advanced Practice Nurses 

• Physician Assistants

• Registered Nurses

• Pharmacists

Oral Health Providers

Within this general framework, HRSA strongly encourages a special focus on RWCA-funded agencies (especially in their first year), providers serving a predominantly minority patient population, and providers in corrections facilities.

ANTIRETROVIRAL CASE CONFERENCE

The CCC provider staff meets in a multi-discipline group conference every Tuesday and Friday at 8am to consider cases of a complex nature or which do not have a standard procedural response. On this page, physicians can access materials to submit a patient summary for review. Just click on one of the links to the right to access printable forms.
