Many times hospital admissions are dictated by the patients' medical insurance coverage. Whenever possible, the patient's wishes are honored in the choice of where the admission occurs. The medical providers at CCC have developed relationships with a variety of physicians in Nashville-area hospitals who can assist the admission process at hospitals where the CCC physician does not have privileges.

The CCC's attending staff has privileges at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). Most hospitalized patients are admitted to the Infectious Diseases Service at VUMC. Patients who have an insurance plan which does not allow admission to Vanderbilt are admitted to area hospitals and the staff of the Center works with dedicated physicians at those facilities.
